Control characters are never a valid value for any field.
You will need a username and a password.
Username must be 2 to 64 characters, and may not include spaces or tabs.
Password must be 1 or more characters.
Each character has a name, a description and an idle action. The name is currently not displayed to any other players, but this will change in a future update. Your character will be seen by others as
description is idle action.
Thus, if you description is “A normal man” and your idle action is “whistling nonchalently”, other players will see “A normal man is whistling nonchalently.” when they are near you.
Each character field must be 2 to 128 characters.
The world is made up of locations. Each location has a name and a description. Players move between locations using portals. A portal can be a door, a road, a staircase or even a magical effect.
In any location, a player will be able to see the name and description of the location, all other characters who are in the location too, and a list of portals that they can use to travel to other locations. Clicking on a portal moves the character to the corresponding location.
Location names, and portal descriptions must be 2 to 128 characters.
Location desriptions must be 2 to 1024 characters.
In order to make any changes to your character or the world around you, you must make a plan. Once your plan is complete, it can be submitted to apply all of the changes at once. At any point you can save your plan and come back to it later.
Each plan can be named, this is just for your own benefit, the name won’t be shown to other players.
Your plan can include changes to how your character looks or acts, but not your character’s name.
Your plan can optionally modify a location, or create a new location. In order to modify an existing location, your character must be in that location when adding the location to the plan. In a later update, your character will also have to be in that location to submit the plan, but for now you may submit the plan from any location.
If your plan creates a new location, you will also create a portal between the new location and the location you were in when you added the location to the plan.
If your plan creates or modifies a location, you can create or modify portals between that location and others. You must move your character to the other location in order to add the portal to the plan. In this way, you may only create portals between two locations that are both already accessible to your character.
Before submitting your plan, you must ensure that all fields are correctly set. A tick (✓) next to the field indicates you’re good to go, a cross (✕) means there’s an issue. A tilda (~) means you have changed the field since it was last saved. Note: as there is currently no client-side scripting, these symbols will only be updated when you click a button.
You must always save the plan before submission.
Plan names must be 2 to 128 characters.
For any other fields, the validity criteria should be found elsewhere on this page.
